Harrison Webb experimented with various methods of baking cookie dough to achieve a soft, doughy texture rather than a rock-hard finish. While his attempt to fry the dough like a pancake was a total flop, he was highly impressed by the results of the cookie skillet. He ultimately recommended the recipe to his viewers, noting that the final product tasted like professional-grade pastry.
